Qualified Mathematics teacher. (QTS). I Have BSc (Hons) is Mathematics and Education.
As a secondary school GCSE mathematics teacher, I am up to date with the current syllabus and exams that students will be facing. I teach GCSE maths on a full-time basis. I have a detailed knowledge of the GCSE maths specifications for Edexcel and AQA. With this I have been about to help students to surpass their target grade.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring Is often led by what students have been covering at school and consolidating that work, extending it or filling in gaps in their knowledge. I encourage students to bring their class books and homework with them to lessons so I can reinforce what they have been learning to make sure it is concrete.
Towards exams I will analyse exam techniques with students and walk them through each type of question that they could potentially face. I will give them exam questions to take away and show them how best to revise for mathematics as this is different to most other subjects.
My priority is to reach their target goal and strive to surpass it while creating well rounded individual that both understands mathematics and is mathematically fluent.
