Information About Wendy - Newton-le-Willows tutor - (6 reviews)
This is how 3 referees rated Wendy:
I have a passion for helping people to help themselves, giving them a chance to achieve goals and follow their dreams.
I enjoy working with students with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia.
I have experience tutoring English and Maths from KS2 (age 10+) to KS3, GCSE and Functional Skills - Entry 1 through to Level 2; I also teach science at KS2 (age 10+) and KS3 levels.
I have helped students with a number of SEN requirements to achieve goals in English and Maths as well as in practical sessions. My experience with SEN includes learners with ASD, Asperger's Syndrome and other EBD as well as Dyslexia and Speech Impediments. I have also worked alongside learners to improve their IT skills, allowing them to access basic applications.
Every learner is different, with different goals and different needs. I like to get to know my learner before embarking on formal learning schemes which I then tailor not just to curricula, but to my learner.
