Personal Description:

I trained as a teacher before training as a doctor. Having now semi retired very early I now work as a part time lecturer at medical schools and Harley St but still enjoy my teaching of younger children, hence tutoring. I am qualified in special needs specialising in autism, dyslexia and associated conditions. I also specialise in gaining entry via the 11+ and 13+ to the private schools such as North London Consortium and the boys schools such as Westminster. I am now able to take on new students as I have spaces after seeing many through their A' Level resit's and some into private schools. I also tutor medical students through their Mcat, UKcat, GAMSAT and I can teach geography, psychology, sociology, chemistry, physics and English literature and have exams in EFL. I have now completed many tuition sessions in elocution with a very good result. Please note I work in Kensington, Chelsea, Belgravia, Mayfair, Westminster and surrounding area's of London and Surrey. Please call for a chat.

I have now taken on two excellent tutors to assist with the tuition as I am so busy and who also offer an excellent service at much a cheaper rate which is displayed. They still work offering the same high standard with my guidance and advice but only work 5.30. If you would be interested in using their services, please ring for a chat or e mail and I will get back to you shortly.

I am a specialist in scotopic sensitivity which is often present in dyslexic students and a main cause for their lack of reading ability. Non readers can read confidently after my 12 week rapid recovery programme which has been very successful.

I am available 7 days per week. to tutor in St Georges Square, near Pimlico underground, Dorking in Surrey and also **Removed By Admin** in London where I hold my private medical/psychological surgery and where the scotopic sensitivity testing (colour vision for the written word) is performed.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 22 years experience at secondary schools with 15 years experience in tutoring. Of that 17 years of experience is with special needs children and adults. I also have 4 years experience lecturing at medical school on many subjects and my specialist subject of physiology and anatomy.

Tutoring Approach:

Generally the student and tutor need to find a level of tutoring that works best for the tutee. Every child/adult is different and I adjust my teaching style to enhance the students style of learning. This has worked very well in the past and has kept me very busy. With special needs the student is able to learn at their own pace, allowing the maximum progression to take place. We work on the assumption that positivity will bring results and that with some time and a little effort we can achieve our goals and look forward to a positive and fulfilling future.
