Personal Description:

I have an excellent track record in tutoring chemistry, economics, biology and mathematics students, with most students going on to achieve top grades (references are available on request). I do charge slightly more than most tutors but I offer a top class service and having a PhD in Chemistry, and lecturing at University level at UCL, makes me very well equipped to meet your specific needs. Moreover, having won many faculty, multi-faculty and national awards throughout my academic studies (I may send you my CV if you so wish), achieving a top class PhD and a 1st class honours MSci Chemistry with Mathematics degree (>90% average), as well as achieving all A's at A-levels, I have picked up many techniques to achieve optimum performance and I hope I can share these with you through my tuition service.

I also offer comprehensive Summer tutoring programs to keep students on the right track and/or give them an advantage over their peers during this period.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored over 75 students, a lot of them at university and A-level standard, so I have good experience as a tutor and have ambitions to set up my very own agency in the coming year. I shall also make it clear that I only tutor in 2 h blocks as my experience has taught me that this is of most benefit to students.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to put a lot of emphasis on understanding rather than rote learning to instil ground level confidence in my students so that they can work out problems on the spot and have a broad understanding of the subject topic.
