I am a Russian native speaker and highly qualified teacher with 17 years experience of teaching Russian at universities in the UK and Russia.
I graduated from the Russian Language Department at Simferopol State University having earned the qualification of 'Teacher of Russian Language and Literature'. For four years, I delivered Russian language lectures at universities in Crimea. In 2007-2010 I was teaching Russian at the University of Manchester and at the University of Leeds. I moved to London in 2011, and these days I work at one of the London's most prestigious universities.
My approach is always student-orientated. When I teach I take into consideration that each student has their own motivation, purpose and speed of learning. I am tolerant of my student’s mistakes because mistakes help learning. My teaching of Russian is also culture based which brings so much fun into leaning!
