Information About Victoria - Congleton tutor - (2 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Victoria:
I am an experienced teacher and tutor. I graduated from Edge Hill University with a degree in Primary Education specialising in English in 2009. After graduating, I taught in Liverpool for a short period of time before working in America for a year. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and could sit and read or watch them all day long!
I have currently been at the school I teach at now for 7 years. I've taught a range of year groups across the KS1 and KS2 age range but have taught a mixed class of year 5/6 children for the past four years. I am experienced in preparing children for KS1 and KS2 SATs.
I currently tutor maths and English to several children of various ages who differ hugely in their abilities and ways of learning. I prefer to tutor in pairs or 1:1 in order to focus fully on the needs and goals of the children to make maximum progress.
I am a huge believer in enjoying what you are learning in order for it to stick. My lessons stay fun and engaging throughout. I stick to simple techniques and ensure who ever I am tutoring is aware of their goal through out the whole lesson. It is also extremely important that parents are aware of the need for support at home following each tutoring session to ensure there is consolidation. I feedback in detail everything that we cover during each session, so that parents can help as much as possible too.
I would charge an additional £5.00 for travel distance over 5 miles.
