Hello! I am based in Stratford upon Avon and I am able to travel within most of the Warwickshire area. I have a Joint Honours Degree in French and Spanish from Coventry University and I am passionate about languages! French is a language I love and through tutoring I am hoping to share my knowledge and improve the linguistic proficiency of my students. Although I have studied Spanish I would like to specialise in teaching French. I have over 15 years experience in industry, as my previous career was in Recruitment and Sales. I love working with people and I have lots of experience of working with individuals via training and mentoring.
During my time at University, I taught English to Spanish adults and young people. This was achieved via group sessions and on a one to one basis. I have been tutoring students for over 5 years now in French and I have significant experience of tutoring French at GCSE level. All the students have a different proficiency in French however I am able to tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs.
My approach to tutoring is tailored to each individual. I have an open and positive approach and I am able to be flexible depending upon the needs of each individual. I feel that my tutoring sessions should be fun and promote a sense of achievement. I work very closely with each individual to understand areas of concern and we constantly evaluate our work to ensure all areas of the course are covered. I feel it is essential to form a strong working relationship and to create a stimulating environment in which to learn. I also encourage individuals to work where they feel most comfortable whether this be in their own home or at a different location.

I think it might be beneficial to hear more spoken French as I have difficulty in understanding what is said to me.
We are both looking forward to progressing in our studies and trying out our newly acquired language skills when we visit France again shortly.
