I am often described as an enthusiastic and adaptable tutor who prides myself on increasing the confidence of all my students, as well as excellent results.
I work part time creating and distributing a range of resources for different learning styles, alongside tutoring and lecturing, which I am able to use in sessions and provide to students. This allows for productive work outside of sessions where this is needed.

I have been tutoring students one-to-on in a range of subjects since the age of 18, ranging from year 3 students to retirees studying as a hobby.
In addition I have experience of teaching in a multitude of different environments including primary schools, secondary schools, academies, further education colleges, vocational colleges and higher education. This has given me an insight into a wide range of methods, meaning I can adapt to the needs of different students.
My Approach is built around the need to put students at easy, allowing them to enjoy the subject and have the confidence to explore topics. This is achieved different ways with different students but I always strive to teach with a smile.
My research in education and memory has taught me that that students need to recap the topics covered in order for them to reach their long term memory, so I always ensure my students are provided with both the resources and the skills to be able to build upon what we have covered between sessions.
