I am a Psychology graduate of Nottingham Trent University.
Alongside my teaching I have a keen interest in social enterprise, I am currently in the process of building my own venture around predictive data analysis of vulnerable housing association tenants.
Since graduating from Cambridge University, I have gained a wide range of experience of teaching at primary, secondary and university level. I have taught Maths, Statistics, Mechanics and Physics one-on-one to pupils of all abilities.
I have particular experience in 11+ entry level and GCSE. In maths, I give particular focus to stimulating their imagination for anecdotal approaches to problem solving. Particularly useful for frustrated or stuck students.
I find that my interest in innovation, combined with the academic training I received at Nottingham Trent, allows me to plan lessons that are both informative and engaging. This also helps with another important aspect of my teaching - increasing the confidence of my students, which is particularly crucial for exam performance as well as for interviews for 11+ entry and GCSE level.
