This is how 2 referees rated Thunazzina:
I`ve graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a 2:1 in BSc Biomedical Sciences (Hons) and MSc Biological Sciences, I am now continuing my studies here with PhD in Biological Sciences.
I have experience in teaching children with and without learning disabilities as a volunteer at my local Mencap. I have also been tutoring for the past year in both GCSE and A-Level and I am familiar with most examination boards. I am avable to tutor most weekday evenings and throughout the weekends including the holidays.
I would love to continue to tutor in biology and chemistry as I have found it to be both rewarding and enjoyable. I'm young and enthusiatic and will go above and beyond in order to help my pupils understand their subject. I am happy to teach all ablilities, from those that are struggling within the classroom to others that need tweaking in exam techniques. I believe that it is imperative to be patient as a teacher and for students to actually enjoy and be confident so that they can obtain the best results they can.
Outside of my studies I love to keep myself as busy as possible. I'm a keen dancer in Latin and Ballroom as I take part in competetions at university as well as being a Student Ambassador. This role has furthered my ability to communicate especially to those that are curious about joining university.
I enjoy working within this age group as I believe I can relate to my students on some level, understanding the fears of major exams and how to overcome them as I myself am a student too.
I have experience with teaching children with and without learning disabilities as a volunteer at my local Mencap. I`ve been tutoring successfully for a year now in both (I)GCSEs and A-Levels and so I am familiar with most examination boards such as AQA, OCR and Edexcel. I am available to tutor most weekday evenings and throughout the weekends including the holidays.
From my experience as a Mencap volunteer and a NCO in CCF at school, I believe it is essential to be approachable so that students can address their problem areas and then as a tutor to strengthen them.
It also is important to have a full understanding of the basics to go further with more complex ideas and in order to help achieve this you need to have a thirst to learn more. Therefore, I believe my enthusiastic nature can help in this situation.
I first will cater towards each students as each are obviously different and help build up the roots, helping them in both their studies to get through exams and to enjoy the subjects in front of them.
I believe it is so important for pupils to be confident and actually enjoy the topics for them to gain the best results they can achieve.
