I am a passionate and dedicated music teacher with 15 years experience. I teach harp, piano, voice, music theory, composition and arranging. I pride myself and inspiring a deep love of music in my students whilst motivating them to achieve their highest potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have 15 years experience as a private music teacher and gigging musician. I have worked as a session musician with Björk and Tom Walker (to name a few) and my students have achieved high grades in their music exams, with some going on to gain entry into top music colleges. I have extensive experience teaching one to one lessons with primary school and high school aged children as well as higher education students and adults. I've been invited to give masterclasses at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The Birmingham Conservatoire, The Royal Northern College of Music and Clare College Cambridge.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching is lead by the goals of my students. I strive to help all of my students to build effective daily practice routines and encourage positive habits for independent learning. Technique, listening and repertoire are all key aspects of my lessons. I use positive reinforcement and encouragement to foster a life long love of music and self belief in all of my students.
