I am an experienced Psychology tutor. I have a PhD, BA (Hons) degree in Psychology and Counselling Studies, Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and MSc (Psychological and Social Sciences). I have tutored privately since 2013 and I have experience of teaching and lecturing at universities.

I am committed to helping students reach their potential, improve grades and improve confidence. I can help with specific areas/topics of study, study skills, and essay writing. I am happy to tutor undergraduate or postgraduate students. My areas of expertise are counselling, clinical, critical psychology, mental health and qualitative methods. If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student I welcome Psychology or Counselling students who require support around these areas or with research methods, lab reports and dissertations if using qualitative methods. Please note I do not offer support for statistics or quantitative methods.

Tutoring Approach

I approach private tutoring on an individual basis, tailoring a plan and approach that will suit you best. I use my background in psychology to inform my approach to tutoring by helping students to identify factors that may best support their study, and how they might work towards achieving goals.

We will form a collaborative relationship and work together in order to reach individual goals. We will regularly review how our work is going.
