An economics post graduate from The University College London who currently teaches economics and business studies in a sixth form college with an above 80% A* - A grade record. I aim to instill my passion for these subjects in students and I seek to help them prepare for the very important exams looking at both the the content and the exams practice. having been exposed to economics since the age of 16, I have developed not just an enormous knowledge of the subject, familiarised myself with different exams boards and developed a great understanding of what examiners seek for if students are to achieve the top level marks
I am a fully qualified economics teacher who obtained his Qualified teacher status (QTS) from the Institute of Education (IOE)
This academic year, all my tutees performed well above their predicted targets, an achievement that I am particularly happy about.
One to one interactive lessons, a very applied approach with task and activities. My sessions involve feeling students' gaps in content knowledge and getting them prepared for those very important exams.
Being a full time teacher makes me a better tutor than many who claims to have had years of experience working in the city ( industry) as these are two different areas where economics is differently applied.
