Information About Susan - Derby tutor - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Susan:
I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher, working with both Primary and Secondary pupils. I have spent over 25 years as a classroom teacher and have more recently been employed by my local LEA as an Advisory Teacher. I have a passion for seeing children and Young people succeed in their studies and use the Kip McGrath methods fully to ensure that students experience a fun environment where positive feedback is a prominent feature. I also hold a Certificate in Transactional Analysis Counselling.
In excess of 25 years as a classroom teacher across a small number of schools with experience of both Primary and Secondary Teaching.
I provide tutoring using the Kip McGrath methods, successful over the pat 40 years, which provide individual programmes to students (following a free assessment) and are then delivered in 80 min sessions typically once per week. Lessons are broken down into different 10 minute activites across computer based, written and prctical exercises. The children have fun whilst learning. The maximum class size is 5 students and weekly feedback is provided to parents. Children make accelerated progress and are encouraged to succeed. Increased confidence and self esteem are a direct by-product.
