Tutoring Approach:

I have a small steps approach to teaching, ensuring that all can achieve. We all learn to crawl before we learn to walk, we all begin life by taking small steps to ensure our progress and to ensure we don't fall. This is the approach I take when I am teaching, ensuring that they can take small steps to be able to achieve, rather than taking a big steps and stumbling and falling.
I ensure that all tasks are differentiated at present in my digital inclusion service that a run for 18+ people with Learning Disabilities. I provide a 4 - 5 way differentiation to ensure that all receive tailored 1:1 lessons for their learning needs.
I believe that all regardless of their needs have the ability to achieve and I am willing to work with anyone to allow them to reach their full potential. I am a facilitator of learning, ensuring that all learn and explore the skills they need to achieve. In addition, to this when I teach I also continuously access the individuals levels and provide them with a half termly update on their progression. I always ensure that everyone at the end of each lesson knows what they have done well and what they have shown they have been able to achieve. I also ensure that they know what their next steps are to be able to achieve.
