I am currently a primary school teacher within the Birmingham region. I have great extensive knowledge of the curriculum, which helps me to assess whether children are working at or above national target and to challenge them accordingly. I am able to adapt my style of teaching to ensure children that are struggling get the required support to fulfill their achievements.
I have a bachelors in key stage two and three with QTS. I have a DBS, which allows me to work with children. I have been tutoring for over a year and have helped and supported children to achieve their best.
I am a professional, committed, qualified teacher specialising in the national curriculum in the Primary sector. I have successfully worked for five years and supported the progress of pupil’s to achieve the expected grades and above. Prior to this my work experience has given me a wide range of experience regarding working with children and young people in educational and informal settings. I am a reliable, hard-working individual with a good record regarding attendance, professionalism and attitude. I aim to strive, learn and further develop my skills to ensure that children get the most out of me.
I aim to tailor my tutoring approach to meet the needs of every individual separately. I do this by working on areas of development and building further on the strengths the individual possesses. I offer one to one or in-group tutoring. Alongside this I offer free on-going progress feedback to parents. All resources are provided. Homework is set every week to ensure the skills are practised further and embedded. Each child is assessed throughout, this helps identifying any gaps that need developing and formulating a plan that is suitable.
I do NOT travel to tutees home, so all tutees will need to travel to sparkhill. Please take that into account when contacting.
