I am a First Class Honours graduate from the LSE (London School of Economics & Political Science) in Accounting & Finance. Having obtained straight A's at A-level and 9 A*'s at GCSE, I have the academic knowledge and drive to tutor students from primary to secondary level. I was awarded the PFA Shield for highest English Literature and Language GCSE at my secondary school (an Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ school based in Surrey) and the Higgens-Mitchell Cup for achievement in Science.

Tutoring Experience

My experience in tutoring comes from running several mentoring schemes where I helped all my students achieve above their predicted grades or improve a minimum of one level at key stage two. I have since focussed on one-to-one tuition teaching students from varying academic abilities and ages.

Having worked in a financial services company in the City of London for five years means I have a broad range of skills beyond ‘the classroom’.

Tutoring Approach

I am passionate about teaching and coupled with my enthusiasm and determination I am able to help all my students achieve their full potential. I understand that each student learns at a different pace and I am able to tailor my teaching approach depending on the students’ needs and their learning style. I begin at the foundation, build up knowledge from there and cover exam technique and practice questions, as this is vital for success.

I am a great believer that learning should be fun and I am able to engage my students through my friendly and creative approach. I understand the importance of patience and commitment in tutoring.

I can cover a range of subjects if required and am always available by email/phone.
