Information About Sue - Ilkeston tutor - (2 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Sue:
I am calm and approachable, but also creative and energetic. I enjoy dancing and watercolour painting, reflecting different aspects of my personality. I also love spending time with my young grandaughter.
I am a qualified teacher and have taught Maths at all levels in Secondary schools for over 30 years.
I take an individual approach to tutoring; we will assess your needs in the first session and agree what to focus on.
I am also a qualified counsellor, which means I understand the emotional aspects of learning and I am well able to adapt to individual needs. For many students confidence and believing in themselves is as important as learning methods and facts.
I have current experience marking GCSE exam papers, so I can give practical advice about exam technique.
