I enjoy teaching Mathematics and understand the challenges students face. I aim to boost my students confidence and achievement by making Maths simple and the concepts clear. I am friendly, approachable and enthusiastic.
I am a qualfied secondary school Maths teacher and have worked in the UK and internationally for the past 24 years. I am currently the Head of Department and have also worked as an examiner for AQA and Edexce. I teach KS3-5, IGCSE and A level Mathematics.
I tutor online via Skype. I have access to a wide range of resources and online materials. My strengths are my subject knowledge, questioning techniques and thorough exam preparation. The most important aspect of how I teach is to help the student to fix prior misconceptions in their knowledge and give them confidence in their abilites.
