Law and English (Foreign Language) Tuition in Rowland's Castle

I am an experienced, highly committed and friendly tutor who specialises in teaching Law and English. I can offer help with any aspect of your studies including exam preparation, revision techniques, coursework, research, points for improvement and learning. I am used to dealing with different exam boards and specifications and will tailor make the lessons to suit your needs.

Tutoring Experience

Having originally qualified and practised as a solicitor, I started my teaching career as a law lecturer at a local college and worked there for many years, teaching on a wide range of adult, professional and higher education law courses. I have also undertaken private tuition for a number of years, both for students preparing for A Level and CILEX exams. I currently work part-time at a private tutor centre for students who are either taking fast track A Level Law or retaking their exams. All my students on fast track have achieved A*/A/B grades while those retaking have typically improved from D/E to A/B.

In addition to Law, I am a qualified TESOL teacher with experience of teaching 1:1 at all levels, including preparation for IELTS exams. I am used to adapting lessons to suit the needs of learners of English. Students that I have taught this summer have contacted me on their return to their native country to report that they have been highly successful in their English exams.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy getting to know and building rapport with students. I will adapt my teaching methods to suit your learning style. I am used to the problems that many students have and will help you to identify any obstacles to your learning. I will do everything I can to help you to overcome these and maximise your potential. I will always go the extra mile to help you achieve a successful outcome. Above all, learning should be fun and I aim to make it as enjoyable as possible.
