I am an enthusiatic teacher with a love of science generally, and Biology in particular. I am also a keen sportsman having played rugby to a high standard, am a black belt in karate and currently cycle to keep in shape. I am also a strong family man and parent.
I have worked for over 30 years as a local science teacher, with over 20 of those years in senior leadership in secondary schools. I have taught both Biology and Physics to A level and had regularly outstanding results teaching Triple Science at GCSE.
My focus is on individual needs. This could be to do with learning styles, tackling maths questions in science exams, exam technique and so on. My approach is to find out what is needed and plan accordingly. I am also keen on developing active revision skills.
