Information About Steven - Stoke-on-Trent tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Steven:
Having graduated from The University of Manchester in 2010 with a 2:1 degree in Economics and Social Studies, I completed a PGCE in Sociology at Keele University before becoming a full time Social Science teacher.
Sociology is my speciality and I have experience teaching across the full range of AS and full A level specifications with AQA.
I currently work as a teacher of Social Science in Wolverhampton, teaching across both AS and A2 level Sociology.
I am also an experienced examiner for AQA Sociology, specifically the SCLY 2 paper [Education and Research Methods]. I have received consistently positive feedback from the exam board for my high standard of marking, and am currently in the process of applying to become a senior examiner.
Supportive and encouraging. I see developing student confidence as being crucial to A level success; I aim to establish self-belief through clear and detailed guidance, both in terms of subject knowledge and also examination technique.
Arguably the most important [and also difficult] aspect of A level success is understanding the requirements of each individual exam. My experience as an examiner means I can offer an insight into how student's should approach each unit and maximise their potential.
