I am passionate about mathematics and have been studying and teaching the subject all of my life. I have been Head of Sixth Form and Curriculum Leader of Mathematics for the last 18 years. I have worked in challenging environments as well as outstanding public schools.
Tutoring Experience
My students achieve excellent results at GCSE and A level. I have taught IB as well as A level. I have taught core mathematics, pure mathematics as well as statistics and decision. My lessons are regularly graded as outstanding.
Tutoring Approach
I instil confidence in the student. I have a positive and fun way to approach mathematics and insist on a growth mindset from those that I work with - a positive, "can do" attitude is essential for success. A drive and determination to succeed is helpful - maths will open doors for everyone.
