Steve has been terrific. He provides texts well in advance, and always provides helpful and incisive feedback. Our son has really enjoyed the lessons, and Steve has a very good understanding of where his (or son's) strengths and weaknesses lie. I would thoroughly recommend him.
Update: our son achieved an excellent GSCE, largely thanks to Steve's teaching. Of all of the many tutors who taught our son, he enjoyed Steve's lessons the most.

y son was scoring 6 before the tutorial but has got 7 in literature and 8 in language in GCSE

Steve has very good idea about the GCSE examination and prepares students to face the exams with all possible skills. He has guided our child for the last one year and we have seen our child develop better confidence, interest in the subject, understanding of the topics, how to approach the questions and he is now working with our child on managing time during the exams. He is gentle and makes a rapport with students making them comfortable during the lessons. It goes without saying that he is an excellent tutor and is committed towards guiding the students do better. We have also seen our child's scores improve in the last year.

Steve is a phenomenal teacher. My son is a native English speaker who only entered the English school system a year ago. We found Steve to be very patient, thorough, fun, passionate - and his lessons are tailored to the individual student, something which makes all the difference. Teenage boys aren't always the easiest to engage but Steve has done a wonderful job and I can see a huge difference in my son's performance in school, his confidence, as well as his desire to learn. I'm really pleased that we found this tutor.

Steve is an excellent tutor. My 15 year old is very at ease with him and his teaching manner. Having experienced other tutors across various subjects, I recognise and greatly appreciate the fact he plans the lessons in advance, the key to good tuition.

Steve is truly an amazing tutor who can make significant difference to your childs confidence and grades within a very short span of time.I cant thank him enough for helping my son on a very short notice. We only had six weeks till the final GCSE exams to work on improving the grades. Steve's exam techniques and lesson plans were specifically catered to address the weaknesses my son was struggling with. I must say within few lessons he became so confident and his teacher were giving him higher grades for the revision classes he was attending.Today it was his final English exam and he walked out with a smile of confidence. Thank you Steve for helping at a time of need.
My only regret would be why didnt i find you much earlier so with out wasting time i have spoken to Steve to help my youngest son at much earlier stage .
To sum up, Steve is very professional, punctual and well-organised tutor.
