I am an A&E doctor who graduated from medical school in 2022, prior to which I completed my masters degree and PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Glasgow.

Tutoring Experience

I started tutoring in September 2009 and I currently have a 100% A/B pass rate for my pupils. I also teach medicine and chemistry to undergraduate students. If you would like any references feel free to ask.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that my approach to teaching should vary depending on the pupils needs, but generally speaking my lessons will have an emphasis on problem questions, as well as always making sure the pupil can explain the science of the problem back to me.

When I was in school I had a couple of really good tutors to help me with Highers (equivalent of A-levels), and it is this experience which I refer to to put myself in the pupils frame of mind.
