I am a qualified teacher in Primary English and Maths, and secondary French and German. I also tutor children with Special Educational Needs and hold the OCR Diploma for Teaching Children with Specific Learning DIfficulties. I have considerable experience in preparing children for entrance examinations for state and private schools, including Dame Alice Owens School , St.Albans, Aldenham, St. Edmund, St. Johns and Latym.er

I enjoy tutoring and aim to make my sessions equally enjoyable for the pupil. Lessons are tailored very much to the individual and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Homework is provided if requested and marked. Exam advice and technique is given when required. I have found it very rewarding to support many of my pupils throughout their school career, from early Primary days right through to University entrance. Tutoring takes place in my own home in a special study room. Laptop and Ipad are available for use and books and specimen papers are provided if required
