I am a student who has successfully completed GCSE and A-level; currently I am attending my first year in university, at the medical university of Varna in Bulgaria. My passion lies within science; I enjoy asking questions and challenging facts to enrich my understanding. To further this passion I completed Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level. I aim to provide clear and concise teaching to help pupils’ over-come tricky topics and difficult questions.
Whilst at college I helped my fellow peers understand the content we were set as well as share advice on how to tackle difficult exam questions. I was also a part of an outreach program which allowed me to go to local primary schools and act as a teaching assistant. This experience taught me how to simplify problems and present them in the clearest way possible to ensure that the pupils fully understood.
As a student who has just completed his A-levels I know how difficult it can be to grasp new ideas and concepts. Due to this I can recommend various different types of study methods. I have 3 simple steps when it comes to learning; firstly learn the content, secondly revise the content and thirdly test the content. I strongly believe it is important to teach based around past papers questions as well as mark schemes to give student an idea of what examiners will be expecting as well as the kind of mind-set particular questions should be approach with.
