Private Entrance Exams Tuition in Battersea

Hello, thanks for considering me as your future tutor! :)

A little about me - I am currently studying medicine at St George's University in London, offering help with Maths and Science subjects at GCSE and A-Level, preparation for UKCAT and GAMSAT entrance exams, and UCAS personal statement writing.

I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology to A-Level at college, as well as Psychology and German to AS-Level. I graduated from London Metropolitan University in 2013 with a 2:1 in Psychology, and have presented my research at two international conferences.

I sat the GAMSAT twice, having studied for it by myself with the help of a book and some past papers. I interviewed and received offers from ALL four universities (St George's, Nottingham, Exeter and Plymouth) when I applied for Medicine in 2016, and am able to coach through both preparing for the GAMSAT, in addition to successfully performing in interviews.

This year, alongside my medical studies, I am completing a diploma in Ethics & Philosophy - so I'm anticipating some good material for essay practice for section 2 of the GAMSAT exam!

Have a great day! :)

Tutoring Experience

I was a teaching assistant for three years, but this year will be my first time taking on 1-2-1 tutees.

Tutoring Approach

I am passionate about getting to know someone and adapting myself to their learning needs and style. I will generally try to find out as much as I can about my student and their particular areas of concern before the first lesson. Once I've confirmed the subject and topics you need help with, e.g. Sections 1 and 2 of the GAMSAT, I will use past-paper materials and exercises to encourage you to best tackle your specific area of concern and achieve your full potential. I try to keep things fun and light-hearted, and interesting as possible to help you remember! I will give you homework (sorry!) because I believe practice makes progress.
