I am an Accountant with extensive work experience in the city of London.
After graduating with a bachelors degree in Development Economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, I worked for the Big Four in London and a leading market insurance firm.
I have recently relocated to Bristol and hope to teach students up to GCSE level Maths.
I have experience of tutoring English as a second language through voluntary schemes at work.
As part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, I was able to experience working with young kids and adults helping with their English and Maths.
I volunteered at a children's nursery at the Chinese Community Centre in London. I worked with children which included providing individual and small group instruction to the children. I value individuality, and strive to meet the needs of each individual. I recognize the importance of trust, and successfully established relationships with students that resulted in a safe and comfortable environment.
My other experiences have been volunteering as a student ambassador for my university, helping first year students adjust to their new university life and acting as a mentor. I was available to answer any questions and also helped them settle into their new course.
I am a dedicated individual and truly enjoy helping others improve their communicative abilities. I believe that I have the motivation to help students reach their greatest potential.
I am approachable and supportive. I like to encourage my students to practice using examples to help them grasp key concepts.
