Personal Description:

I am an active, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, who aims to help students achieve their full potential.

I have studied Psychology at University Level (University of Birmingham) and I then went on to convert my degree to Law and I am currently completing the Legal Practice Course to qualify as a Solicitor.

I studied Maths up to A Level alongside History, Physics and French for which I received the respective grades; A, A, B , A.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching children, helping them realize and reach their full potential and beyond is something that I look forward to each week. With this enthusiasm I believe my tutoring sessions provide my students a supportive platform from which they can best achieve their goals.

Aside from my studies I volunteer for the Metropolitan Police Youth Offending Team, demonstrating my experience working with young children.

Tutoring Experience:

Whilst studying during 6th Form I began working part-time as a tutor, teaching Mathematics to children from ages 10-16 years old. Throughout my university studies I have also tutored a variety of ages and levels of children, ranging in many different subjects from entrance exams to GCSE coursework modules.

Tutoring Approach:

Being in education myself enables me to identify with students and establish a relationship with them, which I believe is key to the student's engagement and ultimately their scope for development.

My approach concentrates on first understanding my student's approach to learning and then identifying how this can be developed and improved upon by using a range of methods from time-pressured activities to setting regular performance goals, whilst giving reviews when necessary and identifying any problem areas.
