I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from University College London. I am currently working partly as a supply teacher but mainly as a tutor to focus on improving students' understanding, confidence and performance in exams in both Maths and Physics.
I have been a science teacher with a physics specialty in a secondary school for 3 years, teaching an age range of 11-18 year old students. I have tutored more than 20 students in the past year in both Physics and Maths up to and including A-level.
Everyone learns at their own pace so my sessions are tailored to your personal needs. I try to make the sessions enjoyable as this makes learning that little bit easier. In the past I have built up an excellent rapport with my students so you won't feel pressured or nervous about our sessions. I incorporate work on exam technique into the sessions as I believe this to be incredibly important when it comes to getting the most out of yourself at exam time. Together we will improve your understanding and more importantly your confidence to eliminate those silly mistakes that can mean you don't miss out on the grades that your hard work deserves.
