I started my teaching career in 1987. I was teaching in the successful Mathematics department at Framingham Earl High School until July 2015. Since then I have been tutoring and managing a holiday let business.
I have taught in 4 state schools in Norfolk and Suffolk and a private school in Adelaide, South Australia. I have taught A Level and GCSE Mathematics.
I believe in treating each student as an individual and try to tailor my teaching to their specific needs. My main aim is to help boost the young person's confidence in their maths. I am flexible and can help regularly, say weekly, or now and then when students are stuck on a particular topic. There is no obligation for a set number of lessons.
Lessons are £27 per hour.
Due to time constraints I prefer students to travel to me. However, if this isn't possible why not try an online lesson via Skype? You can view the workings on screen while we talk through how to solve the problem. One of the advantages of this method is that you can record the lesson as a video enabling you to return to parts of the lesson if necessary.
