I have a strong belief in science being a vital part of everyone’s education, as it is important to have a grounding in the subject in our modern world. I’m a science teacher currently working in an independent prep school in Herts. I have a patient and approachable manner and I’m frequently told by parents that my lessons are their children’s favourite!
I have been teaching since 2006, in both secondary, up to A levels, and independent primary schools, with a focus on Common Entrance and other entrance examinations.
I have taught at my current school since 2012, teaching science from year 3 to year 8, leading the pupils on to their entrance examinations and life in their secondary schools.
I have a strong belief that anyone can understand even the most complex scientific concepts, it’s just a case of finding a personalised way of guiding them to that understanding. I like to keep Science fun and will always try to keep any topic as practical and grounded in the real world as possible.
