I’m a highly motivated and creative lecturer at University of Sunderland and Northumbria pathway college. I have almost 6 years of teaching in UK and abroad. I love Maths and my background degrees. I'm teaching Maths (All levels especially GCSE), Introduction to Engineering, IT, SPSS and Management lessons to students. I also have various one-to-one teaching experience in Maths and IT. They are my favourite subjects but I love maths more !
I love to see people are progressing so "Your aim is my aim". I will make teaching subjects easy for you or your child. I will make sure you or your child understand the lesson with help of various exercise during the lesson and with homework after lesson. I will build up confidence for you or your child through out my sessions because confidence and knowledge together will make success.
Every session you or your child will receive a plan session, teaching materials and extra exercise as home work. Lessons will be planned based on you or your child ability to make sense of everything and add a bit of fun to it. I will mark all the works and will provide you report of progression if you wish. This help both of us to focus better.
Anything else you would like to know? Please feel free to ask me :)
I have experience in teaching students in different age and level of education (include university levels) in the following subjects:
Mathematics (GCSE H & F), A-level and Statistics
Information Technology for Engineering students
I will mostly drive to my students location.
In start of Tutoring session I will try to understand my client requirements carefully in order to select and present a lesson which fits to their needs.
During tutoring session I will build up confidence all the way and go through following:
introduction to the lesson
Solving several questions to help student understand the lesson
Provide sample of past exams questions. ( I always provide materials such as revision exams, real GCSE exam papers, Prediction papers for next year and etc.)
Let student to work independently and explain how to solve a question. (It makes interaction between us, repeat things, express ideas and thinking out loud).
review the lesson at the end.
Give some extra exercise as homework. Mark them and develop a report every 5 lessons or so to make parents sure about progress of their child.
