Maths and Physics Teacher in Huddersfield

I am Sidharath, grew up and completed Mechanical engineering (2011-12) in India. After my under graduation I worked for Mahindra & Mahindra ltd, ALSTOM and Ricardo over a period of 3 years in the role of product design and development in terms of acoustics & NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) characteristics.
I am currently pursuing PhD in mechanical engineering from the school of computing and engineering in the University of Huddersfield.
I am interested in learning and teaching mathematics and science (Physics in particular).

Tutoring Experience

a. I don't have much official teaching experience but have taught numerous times my classmates and juniors in college.
b. I have taken laboratory sessions of first year engineering students (Dynamics & vibrations-101, C-101) for 1 semester (6 months)
c. I was associated with BHUMI, India, Youth volunteer NGO educating under-privileged children for 2 years viz. 2011 - 2013. My duties included teaching kids basic maths, science & computer classes and taking care of hardware and software requirements of the center.

Tutoring Approach

I firmly believe that teaching is a two way street, I will teach some part and learn some part from the student and hence a healthy exchange of ideas, thinking and interaction of ideas is how I teach and/or strive to teach,
The language of science is mathematics and in my teaching I lay emphasis on concepts and the mathematics governing them. I try to teach the concepts in a fairly novice and easy manner but make sure that the essence of the complication is captured properly with application based examples.
