Hello, I am Aisha. I thrive with enthusiasm to teach children who may or may not be eager to learn. I am passionate about passing on knowledge,
experiences, and preparing children for their future path. My friendly, cheerful and understanding characteristics will prove to you that I am an effective tutor.
I have twelve years experience working with primary school children in a range of contexts (eg childminding, Bradford Study Support Network, after school clubs and holiday clubs). I have been teaching full time for the past nine years as a qualified teacher in both Key stage 1 and 2. I have some experience of teaching in Foundation stage.
I have experience of
- One to One tuition in school
- Gifted and Talented co-ordinator
- Classroom teacher in Key Stage 1 and 2
- Teaching children in all primary school subjects
- EAL children (eg Eastern Europe background)
- SEN (eg autism, visually impaired)
- Booster sessions for Year 6 & 2 SATs
- Preparing children for exam entrances
- Teaching in mainstream and private schools
I set out an arranged study plan with the child and parent. This is regularly updated and reviewed so all parties can see progress.
Initial stage is to assess the child so that I can identify clear and simple targets. These will be set as short and long term targets, along with success criteria. Planning will be regularly reviewed to ensure needs of the child are achieved. Most importantly I take into consideration the teaching approaches employed. Inspiring the desire to learn and progress. Offering a fun and enjoyable learning journey.
