Personal Description:

I recently graduated from Imperial College London with a First Class MEng in Aeronautical Engineering, and am currently working within Formula 1. I have a strong grounding in maths and physics, as necessary for my degree, as well as chemistry and computing. I am an approachable person, easy going, and have only recently left education, leaving me with a recent understanding of learning styles. I am willing to travel to your location, or where ever suits.

Please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements further.

Tutoring Experience:

I have previously tutored a variety of different levels; spanning from GCSE, all the way through to degree level engineering, both aeronautical and mechanical. This has included both exam preparation and coursework support.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a very methodical person who likes to break problems down into components and tackle each one step by step. However, I am aware this approach doesn't work for everyone and some people require an overall understanding of the problem before getting stuck in. Often when teaching, the perspective or importance of a topic is forgotten, and I like to re-introduce this. At the end of the day, you will gain a greater understanding of a topic if you can relate it to an application in the world around you, and beyond exams, this is what you're going to need to do at work; take some theory learnt and apply this to a design or problem.

Learning is different for every individual, it's important you to find your own best way of learning, and I can help facilitate this, exploring different methods of considering a problem.

I do not offer online tutoring as I feel it is much easier to get to grips with a subject when we're both in the same room. This way, I can get a real gauge as to your understanding for a topic.
