Hi there! I am a 19 year old student approaching my third year in a BA in Sociology at the University of Warwick. I achieved A* in the subject at A Level from King Edward VI Sixth Form in Bury St. Edmunds, along with A Levels in History and Media Studies. I'm currently working at a 2:1 at university. I have a varied knowledge in the subject, from the basic sociological perspectives and political viewpoints to the more challenging abstract and philosophical ideas and ebates within Sociology. DUE TO MY UNIVERSITY STUDIES I WILL ONLY BE IN EAST ANGLIA IN JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER 2014
Whilst at Sixth Form I frequently helped my peers with their revision techniques and helped out in a few GCSE classes too. At university I frequently work with the basic material covered at A Level as well as working with a variety of other topics at a more advanced level, meaning I should be able to tackle whatever you throw at me!
Whilst I am perhaps not the most experienced tutor, I am more than familiar with the school / education setting and am aware of what aspects of modern education and teaching styles might not reach some students. I am patient and willing to explain a number of topics in a variety of simple ways so the tutee has a basic foundation of knowledge to work from. Alternatively for those looking for something more challenging, I can provide a more debate / rheotircal question style of tutoring which should have the tutee engaging with the topic on a higher level
