I am a professional actor and so very personable and outgoing. I have worked for a number of years across many genres, from Shakespeare to children's theatre and musical theatre. I was originally going to train to be a doctor, and so took the relevant A-Levels to apply to medical school. Science is something I am still very much passionate about, and I would love to share that with tutees looking for a friendly, knowledgeable tutor.
I have taught drama and singing in a number of drama schools throughout London to children aged 4 to 18. I have also delivered workshops in drama and singing all over the UK and worked extensively in theatre for young children. Academically, I have worked in a London primary school where I was responsible for a small group of children. I gave them additional support across all subjects with the aim to raise their grades to the national average. I also worked on a one-to-one basis with a number of students with autism.
My main aim is for the tutee to feel relaxed around me. It can be a daunting experience being tutored on a one-to-one basis, and the more relaxed the tutee can be, the more they will get from the sessions. I like to make sessions enjoyable with the aim the tutee looks forward to them - I have a real passion for the subjects which seems to make this more attainable. I like to get to know the tutee, allowing me to better understand what learning techniques would be most effective.
