I am a qualified (PGCE) primary teacher. I have 15 years of teaching experience in both Key Stages. At present I am working in a primary school in London. My strength as a teacher lies in motivating the demotivated, raising self-esteem, confidence building and differentiation. I have been carrying out Numeracy Co-coordinator responsibility in addition to my normal duties as a class teacher for the last five years.
I also provide targeted support to improve Literacy and Numeracy for 7+ and 11+ children preparing children for their SELECTIVE ELIGIBILITY TEST for grammar and other selective Independent schools. My two boys, who are studying in St. Olaves and Dartford Grammar schools, were taught and guided by me. My success rate with 11+ students is very high as most of students who I taught and supported got into their first choice schools such as St.Olaves, Darford Grammar, Beths Grammar, Dulwich college, Eltham College, Bankcroft, Colfes, City of London and many more.
I have experience in teaching Reception class to Year 6 although I can teach up to KS3. I am very keen on using most modern and effective teaching strategies in teaching all subjects. Children under my care progressed significantly due to my target oriented action plan. I strongly believe that through intrinsic and extrinsic motivation children can achieve the unthinkable in a normal condition.
Here's what a happy parent says:
Sayedul is a highly skilled, thorough and effective tutor – as well as being an extremely nice person. He tutored my son in numeracy, literacy and verbal, and non-verbal reasoning, in preparation for 11+ examinations. As a result he has been offered places in three schools, including one academic scholarship – so we are over the moon!
My son enjoyed Sayedul’s teaching methods and looked forward his lessons. Sayedul’s knowledge of the curriculum and the requirements of 11+ exams is extremely detailed and his teaching enabled my son to gain in confidence, particularly in numeracy and make significant progress in all subjects.
I highly recommend Saydul as a tutor and will be passing on his number to all my friends.
I use my subject knowledge and skills to enhance the quality of children's learning through on going target setting, monitoring and supporting them to fulfill their full potential. I use a wide range of stimulating and challenging but differentiated resources to aid teaching.
I am a result oriented teacher and want to ensure my students/children have a measurable or verifiable achievement.
