Sato san is a wonderful tutor! She is passionate and warm and always willing to go the extra mile to tailor classes to suit your needs. She is also very knowledgeable about various aspects of Japanese culture, literature and traditions. I always enjoyed my classes with her!

Extremely informative with information provided and even gives cultural information when asked about. Answers any question in detail if needed and is fun and friendly at all times. Being a native speaker she also provides additional context or knowledge about things related to the current topic that a book or online reading might not even tell you about, which while not explicitly needed for learning/speaking per se, is either additional background knowledge or would be useful for conversing with native speakers.

I really enjoy my lessons with Sato sensei, she's a great teacher who makes you feel comfortable and relaxed! She's very flexible which I really appreciate and is happy to study whatever you want or come up with ideas if you're not sure what you want to focus on. She is great at explaining which situations to use certain grammar in, which is something I find very useful. She also shares a lot of interesting cultural information and often creates interesting discussions. I highly recommend Sato sensei!

Sato is amazing! She’s very friendly and extremely patient. Her teaching style is perfect and lessons are adapted to fit your needs. She’s always willing to help. Whenever I’ve had any questions Sato has always taken the time to answer them, both in lessons and via email.

The lessons themselves are always fun and the cultural links only make it better.

As an adult learner with dyslexia reading can sometimes be a struggle, but Sato has always made me feel comfortable and offered to teach via a different method if needed.

The lessons are very interesting and fun; learnt a lot of Japanese culture and interesting facts while practicing conversational Japanese.

Sato has been so lovely. We're doing this a group of adult learners for travel and Sato has not only covered a lot of useful and practical language, she's also provided a lot of cultural context. It's been so much fun learning more about Japanese customs, as well as learning the language. Sato is always very organised and prepared for our lessons and collates summary emails for us after each one, as well as setting manageable amounts of homework activities. Having taken lessons for a couple of months now, I can confidently say that Sato is an excellent tutor; she is always very attentive, patient and flexible. She uses a range of teaching methods, including: videos, folktales, flashcards, and worksheets. She also makes sure to include lots of cultural context, which is really helpful to my learning. Plus her lessons are always a pleasure to attend, with lots of laughs and positive energy.
