I am young (30) and enthusiastic with a passion for sport. I specialise in lacrosse but have lots of knowledge of other sports. I graduated from university with a 2:1 in Applied Sports Science and Coaching with Outdoor Adventure. I then completed a PGCE in Physical Education. By completing the degree first, I have a secure knowledge and understanding of all aspects of sports science and the ability to apply to relevant situations and coaching.

I would be available evenings and weekends in term time, but also during the day during the holidays.

Tutoring Experience

I am Head of PE in an independent school for girls. I have worked with a range of abilities of pupils. I specialise in anatomy and physiology (covering muscles, bones, mechanics, nutrition, fitness training etc) within the A Level course, having studied it in depth at university and having taught in my current school. I have taught EDEXCEL and AQA at GCSE and AQA at A Level. I don't teach psychology and therefore I am unfortunately unable to tutor this area.
I am used to working with small groups and individuals and have had 6 previous tutees.

Tutoring Approach

I am keen to ensure that you get the best grade possible and will focus initially on subject knowledge, as this is generally what previous tutees have needed support in. As the tutee becomes more confident, exam questions will be the main focus of the session, focusing on specific technique and development of answers.
