I am a passionate educator who has been teaching within a leading FE college for 12 years specialising in the subjects of Hospitality, Business, Tourism, Geography and Aviation at A level and English from Entry Level to Level 2 (pre GCSE). Before coming into teaching, I worked within Corporate Travel Management where I managed global travel business accounts. Whilst in the industry, I took on varying training roles which developed my passion to be a teacher.
Within my current role I am course and personal tutor for Level 3/A Level programmes and teach students from 14 years plus, progressing them through to University. I am also a safeguarding officer which is pivotal to being an effective and trusted practitioner.

I can work with learners at all levels and look at an individuals needs as we all learn differently and have our own barriers to learning. Learning shouldn't be stressful and my approach is to embed the 'I can do' attitude and promote positive thinking, motivation and organisation which brings achievement.
I have vast experience of working with learners with ESOL needs, Dyslexia, ADHD, Aspergers and Autism.
Building a positive tutor/learner relationship and understanding needs to be the focus in order to develop personalised learning plans to achieve everyone's goals.
