Personal Description:

I am a 3rd Year Medical student at Swansea University. I previously graduated from a Life Science degree in France and worked in Pharmaceuticals and Science Communication before undertaking this career path. Therefore I am very keen to teach both Biology and French as subjects up to A'level and further for anyone who has a special interest or needs some extra support. I am an enthusiastic, personable and flexible individual with availabilities throughout the week.

Tutoring Experience:

I have quite a few years experience in one-to-one tutoring for children of all ages and adults. I spent close to 5 years tutoring English as a foreign language in France, but I am equally able to do the opposite, having attended a French School in the UK.
I also spent time working for an organisation that promoted science awareness through the medium of after-school clubs and events. During this time I organised and delivered scientifically orientated activities to large groups of children and in public spaces.I am therefore very at ease in supporting younger individuals with these subjects. I also did one-two one tutoring in Biology up to A-level standard.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring would be similar to the method of study that has worked for me personally over the past few years. I encourage children to develop an interest in the subject at hand and to understand how it can serve them. Then it is possible to adopt a firmer approach with support during exercise based hours of tutoring. The tutee would be given extracurricular work and self directed learning order to aid their progression. The tutoring time would be used to implement a work method and provide answers to queries.
