I am a tutor in special needs education in the subjects of Maths, ICT and Science. I studied ICT with Business at University completing my bachelors’ degree with honours in 2012. However I realised this was not the path I wanted to do in the long run so I started employment in various primary schools across London. Observing teachers running the class inspiring the children’s minds is what I wanted to see myself doing. In the start of 2013 I started working in my first special needs school in East London which I thoroughly enjoyed and continued working for that institution till 2015. The skills I gained gave me the experience and confidence I needed to start tutoring. As a person I am very friendly and outgoing. I love visiting museums and travelling to historic resorts.

Tutoring Experience

The past three years I have undertaken voluntary and paid work in primary and secondary schools within London as an assistant. From lesson planning, classroom organisation and management to problems solving. Having worked in special needs school for two years, across two different sites I managed to complete the foundation signalong and team teach training course, provided hydro therapy sessions for the children and trained the schools staff on a weekly basis on how they can use IPAD's effectively for children with different learning disabilities.

Tutoring Approach

Each child's learning is unique, therefore it will be tailored to suit them. Learning should be fun, hence I will be looking at various different teaching methods to make this enjoyable with plenty of resources for them to choose.
