I am a Civil Engineer working towards my PhD at Imperial College London and working full time as a Principal Civil Engineer in an Engineering Consultancy.
I have been teaching, Arabic, Maths and various civil engineering subjects (e.g. hydraulics and structures) for students at all levels (GCSEs, AS level, A level and university students) since 2006.
I demonstrate to students the why rather than the how, i.e. I explain where a specific formula has been derived from and why do we need it in real life. Being a Civil Engineer helped me in figuring out how maths and physics are used in real life scenarios as I use them on daily basis to solve complex engineering problems.
