In 2010 I completed a BSc Mathematics degree from Keele University. From then I went on to complete a PGCE in Mathematics at Chester University and gained qualified teacher status. From then I have been teaching in a Cheshire school with a sixth form provision for last 6 years.
I have taught all year groups between Year 7 and Year 13. At A Level I specialise in Core, Decision and Statistics modules. I have tutored both GCSE and A Level.
I also tutor for GCSE Statistics and Numeracy skills test for teacher training.
I think it is important to remember that every student has a different learning style and therefore it is important to tailor my tutoring to the individual student. I can help students with homework tasks, focus on specific areas of weakness and help with exam preparation. We can use MyMaths, MathsWatch and other on-line resources that students have access to through their school.
