Sam has been tutoring my daughter in Physics for about 6 weeks. He is very reliable and knowledgeable. I would recommend.

Sam is excellent. He has a strong subject knowledge and is great at teaching challenging physics and maths concepts. He has also developed a great rapport with my son and has motivated him to study independently, despite significant ongoing health difficulties. My son has A levels this year and without Sam I don’t think he would be sitting them. Thank you Sam!

My daughter needed a little final push / confidence build prior to final A Level Maths assessments and are now around 6 sessions in. First assessment has been marked and we've already gone from worry to one banked well within the required grade so am very pleased with Sam's work to date & would not hesitate to recommend.

Sam is helping with A level physics. He has only had 2 sessions so far, but has quickly assessed what needs to be done and is very professional and organised in his approach. Sam was an fantastic tutor. He was incredibly patient and great at explaining complicated concepts. I feel like I made amazing progress during my tuition. Sam has been tutoring my daughter on and off for the past 18 months. During this time he has assisted her with AS and A2 Physics. She’s made great improvement during this time and her results proved it. She finds him easy to understand, patient and very knowledgeable. From my point of view Sam’s very accommodating with lesson times, he’s punctual, just basically very easy going. Sam is now tutoring her in maths during first year at university and she finds him an asset. I would recommend him to anyone.

Whilst recognising she needed help with AS level maths, my daughter was reluctant to have a tutor because she felt a tutor would just repeat the teaching style of her school which, at AS level, just did not seem to fit with her learning style … I explained this to Sam at the outset. Sam took on-board my comments and somehow found a teaching style that re-connected my daughter with her love of maths. We've not had the exam results yet, however, after each AS level maths exam, my daughters comment was "I don't know if I got the end figure right, but, what was great mum was that I understood the theory of what I should be doing, I was not stuck at all !"

Sam has been tutoring my son now for a few weeks and in that time he seems to be gaining a lot more confidence with his Physics. Sam explains things throughly to Alex and takes time to go through work with him until he grasps things more easily, He is very enthusiastic about his teaching and is always friendly and has gained a rapport with Alex which I definitely think is helping him to gain more confidence with the subject. We engaged Sam to provide extra tutoring in A-level Pysics for our son Andrew, who needed to resit 2 of his Physics Mechanics modules in order to achieve the grade required for university entrance. Andrew was sitting on D grades for both modules. We cannot praise Sam's tutoring style and friendly approachable manner highly enough. I was having particular difficulty with cores 3 and 4 of my A level course. Sam has helped me a great deal to understand the complex issues I was having. He has been very helpful and easy to get on with.
