I am an enthusiastic Cambridge University graduate with a 1st Class Master's degree in Engineering in 2014. By trade I design jet engines. My calculations underpin how airplanes stay in the sky. Whilst achieving a high level of mathematics, I have managed to pick up a number of useful tricks along the way.

I believe in giving the confidence to solve Maths problems. I have mentored kids from Glasgow, encouraging them to partake in new activities, and achieve what they did not believe possible. I have worked with national sea cadets, inspiring them towards mathematics, and the power of it's applications.
I am experienced in explaining my projects to clients; I have worked on maths-based projects on airplanes, jet engines, one million data point statistics, GB cycling trackers, and many others!
We all have had that experience at school, sitting at the back of the class, with Teacher droning on about differential of a parametric equation, and now if that is applied to a… *zzzzz* Huh? Oh no, I didn't take in any of that, let alone be able to do an exam question on it!
Wouldn't it be great if there was another approach? One tailored for an individual students strengths and challenges? One that built right up from the fundamental building blocks? A tutoring approach that engaged and made mathematics interesting? This is my aim, which I believe gets the most out of everyone, and because of these great results, people shall go on and do exceptional things.
