I am a current Mathematics 3rd year student at the University of York specialising in statistics and applied mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring A-Level and GCSE students. As well as this I am a current mathematics student with a second year grade average of ~95% and a summer research internship with the University of Lancaster.

Tutoring Approach

Often, the reason a student finds a topic difficult is because they don't understand why they are asked to do a question in a certain way and struggle to memorise methods for each question format. By discovering where a student is struggling, I can give them the knowledge to be able to develop their own methods: helping attack problems in a more seamless and intuitive way.
